I love this picture a lot a lot.

You are very subtle. I see what may be two heart outlines but I suspect I am missing much more here. Perhaps you would like to tell me about your style and why you have so much passion for intertwining lines?

i was thinking it may look better if you
rotated counter clock wise and have the
3 lines shooting upwards and across the
sky... a sort of landscape with random
hearts, strange little shapes and waves
at the bottom.
the fact is this isn't really supposed to be
any thing real... just a fantastical
abstract, landscape sort of thing.
so you are not missing any thing.
my style is mainly abstract line art with
ink mostly, a bit of pastel sometimes or
pencils. i hope this answers most of
your questions but if it isn't, just ask ..... i am
most happy to share

It was most kind of you to answer and I am satisfied with your responses. I actually prefer it angled the way you posted it because of the way the right-side heart pops out, because I think that any little boy growing up should still have some love in him for the world if he is fortunate...those three lines shooting out seem to be coming towards me, so I could interpret them to be reaching out towards me in someway. I would feel guilty if these were the only things that had meaning to me, but I do get glimpses of shapes the remind me of violins, rollercoasters, scissors, and insects, all of which have different significances for me and might very well sneak up on me out of the corner of a dream. By the way, I love the title if you can't tell lol.

i wanted to thank you as well for your thoughtful
interpretation of little boys dream. perhaps the larger abstract heart behind the shooting lines represent a bigger unconditional love... the sort of love you would receive from your parents or family and the other heart that comes out of this mess is that of the little boys or as you put it the love he has left in him for the world if he is lucky.
and maybe the reaching lines are what we leave behind or break free of... if need be we can fall back on them and they will give us comfort or keep us safe?

Oh, I love the idea of the bigger unconditional love (psychology for the win!) compared to the little boy's own interpretation, to be shaped and grown yet by his experiences in the world.
And perhaps the extended lines are very well safety broken free of - an umbilical cord, motherhood, whatever you like.

These lines really can be very deep. I am very comforted to be able to look at this from so many perspectives.
